So... one of my best friends and I are crazy cat ladies. Admittedly, I'm a little further into it than she is, but still, we treat our cats like they are the children we don't have yet.
Nicole has an amazing kitty named Mufasa. Seriously, he is the chillest cat I have ever seen. He is super friendly, lets you pick him and play with him all the time, is a super cuddle bug and loves to lick strangers arms.
One of our cats is named Dharma. Dharma is a rescue that we got about two years ago. She is probably seven years old, but that's just a rough estimate. She is a huge cat, but super inquisitive and sweet. When I make kissy noises she ambles over and pushes her head into mine for kisses. She will share my pillow like a human sometimes and she loves sleeping and eating.
When Tim and I first got Dharma we nicknamed her Moo Moo because she is black and white (like a cow) and because she eats multiple times a day.
When Nicole and (her fiance) Seth got Mufasa they nicknamed him Mu- Mu.
We have both been known to call our cats Mu-mers. (Moomers.)
When I got sick earlier this week, Nicole sent me this picture on the right to cheer me up. The picture on the left is the response.
We put the crazy in crazy cat lady.
Another one of our cats, Sunshine, is making a guest appearance in the photo on the left.
Nicole and Seth's other cat No-mers is making an appearance in the photo on the right.
This, my friends, is sometimes how two (partially) stay at home wives spend their days.
And now, for the outtakes.
We can't be the only ones that do things like this, right?
Who are the furbabies in your life?
Can cats have playdates?
Have a happy "Caturday' everyone.
But seriously, it's Cinco De Mayo...
So happy 23rd birthday to my baby (and very pregnant) sister Brooke!
Everyone have a margarita tonight for her!
